THE HAUTE NOTE: KITCHEN FLOOR REVEAL
Last week I took on what I would likely call one of my top 3 hardest projects to date.
The kids were on a spring break trip with my in laws and I thought it would be a genius idea to have our kitchen tile floors tore so we could continue the LVP in that part of our home. I explained why in LAST WEEKS NEWSLETTER.
It was a decision we had been mulling over for a while and doing it while I had an empty house for a week was ultimately the best option.
Little did I know the toll it would take on my body to not only prep, but clean, lay 300 sq ft self leveling concrete followed by two days of laying floors ALL BY MYSELF!
But you know what?!?
I FLIPPING DID IT!!
If you follow along on INSTAGRAM I’ve shared bits and pieces of this project so far but YOU are the first to see the actual finished product!
SELF LEVELING CONCRETE MISTAKES
If you want to see the rest of the story unfold make sure to follow along because ill be editing and uploading the rest of the content this week!
I didn’t get the WHOLE kitchen completely put back together.. I still have to redo the island and reinstall door trim, baseboards and a few other minor projects, but its functional and thats what we needed when everyone came back home.
So without further ado: OUR NEW KITCHEN FLOORS!!
Thanks so much for joining in on the excitement!!
I’ll chat with you soon!!
